Urban beach, located in the capital city of Alicante. Located between Urbanova Beach and the Port of Alicante. It is 200 metres long and 40 metres wide. It is renowned for bordering on one of the most renowned neighbourhoods in Alicante, the San Gabriel neighbourhood.
An area of fine golden sand, partly with rocks and palm trees to protect us from the sun. Next to it we find the mouth of the Barranco de las Ovejas ravine, which offers a different and very striking panorama.
It has a calm swell all year round as it is sheltered by the harbour dyke, although this means that its waters are not the cleanest. Most of its visitors are locals who come to sunbathe, fish, read and spend time with the family. Nearby we find El Palmeral, a well known natural park, which we can visit after being on the beach.
A few minutes away from the beach, we can walk to the San Gabriel neighbourhood where we will find various restaurants, bars for snacks and drinks.
To reach this place, by train, take the Cercanías line to the San Gabriel stop. By bus, take line 1 to the Cesar Asencio 9 bus stop, as well as line 27 and C6. By car, take the N-332 road at Calle Vergel.
As far as parking is concerned, in the San Gabriel neighbourhood you can find a parking space.
