The natural pools of La Laja are located next to La Laja beach and consist of two large natural pools, a pool and a small sandy cove. They are not accessible at high tide as they are completely covered and the waves are usually quite strong. When the tide is low, we have some quiet and safe spaces where we can refresh ourselves.
The first of the pools measures 30 by 14 metres and the larger pool measures 50 by 12 metres. The latter has a tier with steps where you can sit down and in both pools there are concrete areas where you can lie down. The pool is located in the northernmost part next to the sandy cove and here we also have a place to sit and lie in the sun.
The car park is located on the other side of the road. You can get there from the city going south. Leave the city at the last turning leading to the last block of buildings. Turn right at the roundabout where you will find a carrefour and a mercadona. Continue to the end of Hoya de la Plata street until you find the car park. Buses 6 and 64 arrive here.
