The Finestrat cove, although it gives us the sensation of being in Benidorm, belongs to the municipality of the same name. It is an urban cove of fine sand about 200 meters long and wide so there is a large area for multiple visitors who come in summer months.
One of the charms of this cove is that on both sides we find rocky cliffs and a pine forest that create a special natural space and a charming landscape. Here we will be able to enjoy a day of beach with all the comforts to be in an urbanized zone. We have all the services of shower for feet, beach bar, bars and restaurants at our disposal just next to the cove.
Once we access the sea we will find in the central part of the cove a seabed of sand and in front we come across a rocky formation that protrudes several meters from the sea and begins one of the cliffs. This area is an authentic spectacle to practice snorkel, as well as all the rocky zone that extends towards the south. Also in the northern part that reaches the beach of Ponent and belonging to Benidorm. We have the possibility of making a route bordering the coast until arriving swimming to the cove Racó de Conill, less than an hour going quietly, observing the bottom and the marine fauna and also with kayak or paddle surf observing the rocky cliffs.
From here we can make a small excursion up to the Torre del Aguiló by a path between the pines, about 15 minutes walk and from where we can enjoy beautiful views of all benidorm. If we walk a little more to the south we arrive at the cove Racó de Conill or even go to the cove Torres (1h of journey).
We have a fairly large car park and the surrounding housing estates. On Saturday there is a very busy flea market so there is a little less space to park.
