Cura Beach is named for a priest who drowned here. It has a length of 325 metres by 27 metres wide, is one of the most popular beaches and is made up of golden sand and crystal clear waters. It has been distinguished with several awards, including the Blue Flag.

It is an urban beach frequented by families and tourists. It is one of the most visited beaches both in summer and winter. With regard to water sports, this beach is ideal for paddle surfing, snorkelling and kayaking.

It is adapted for people with functional diversity, with ramps for wheelchairs. Lifeguard service. Tourist information, first aid and footbaths.

This beach, being inside the city, has a wide promenade full of restaurants and shops, especially the Kiosko el Tintero, which has a terrace facing the sea.

To park, you can do so in the streets leading to the beach, where there are designated parking areas. There is also plenty of parking. By bus, we take Line A, which can be taken very close to the beach.
