This small cove of 220m of extension and 30m of width, we will find like in the paradise, has a special beauty. Its medium size, its fine sand and small gravel and the two cliffs of yellowish rock with undulating forms, create a magical and cozy space, where to enjoy a day of beach and relax.
It is a semi-urban cove located in Villajoyosa, next to the well-known Playa del Paraíso (Beach of Paradise), separated only by a cliff that we can climb up a path and enjoy the views offered by this space. We have the services in high season of surveillance, foot showers and a beach bar. It has been distinguished with blue flag which indicates us the quality of this natural space and its services.
It has parts with fine sand and small pebbles, and also medium stones so we have good areas to lie down and we recommend the use of booties to go everywhere and access the sea more comfortably.
Normally it creates a cloud of white powder in the sea that gives a turquoise color to the water but clouds the view for the practice of snorkeling, but if we go to the northern cliff part, we can enjoy more clarity to be rocky bottom and there are beautiful areas to observe. Also in the southern area we can enjoy the views of the rocky bottom where the cliff ends and we can swim to the nearby nudist beach of Esparrelló.
It is a good place to begin routes with kayak or paddle surf, since we have the near access in car and we have good routes tando towards the north (Beach of the Paradise, Cala Malladeta, Cala Punta del Moro, Beach Center) as towards the south (Beach of the Esparrelló, Cala La Caleta, Beach canina of the Charco). Both routes have beautiful landscapes of cliffs interspersed with beaches and coves.
It has a street with car parks just next to the cove and with the large parking that shares with the neighboring beach of Paraiso so we will not have problems with parking. You can also come with tram line 1 TRAM from Alicante, Benidorm or Dénia.
