Beach located on the outskirts of the capital city of Alicante. It has an extension of 250 linear metres.Located between Cala de los Borrachos cove and Saladar Urbanova beach. In 2016 it was opened as a canine beach.
This beach is well known by dog lovers, as it is one of the few dog friendly beaches in Alicante. Ideal for the enjoyment of our pets, while we enjoy sunbathing or swimming.
Espacio de arena gruesa y piedras en el agua. Recomendable ir con escarpines. Agua tranquila, limpia, perfecta para hacer snorkel y deleitarnos con el paisaje. Cerca no hay muchas urbanizaciones, aunque está a un lado de la carretera. Existe un sendero el cual comunica a la Cala de los Borrachos, por el cual podremos pasear con nuestro perro.
Space of coarse sand and stones in the water. It is advisable to go with booties. Clean, calm water, perfect for snorkelling and enjoying the scenery. There are not many urbanisations nearby, although it is on a side of the road. There is a path which connects to the Cala de los Borrachos cove, along which you can walk with your dog.
In high season we will find different services: special chiringuito with food for dogs, litter bins, toilets, water dispenser, adapted beach umbrellas, platform to use as a feeding or drinking trough and lifeguards, there is also a ramp to access the sea by boat, in this part in particular it is forbidden to park the car.
To access this beach. By bus, take bus lines 27 and C6 to the Elche - Agua Amarga I stop. By car, take the N-332 road towards Santa Pola - Airport at Calle Agua.
As far as parking is concerned, from the road to the beach there is ample space to park your car in a hard-packed land area before the sandy beach.
